One North Interactive and Clients Take Home Silver W3 Awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts

10th Annual Awards Competition Honors Excellence in Web Development and Marketing

Chicago, IL (October 1, 2015) - One North Interactive, a Chicago-based digital marketing agency for B2B and professional services organizations, is proud to announce clients Selman Breitman LLP and Torys were recently recognized as 2015 Silver Award winners in the 10th Annual W3 Awards by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) for their website designs. One North’s redesigned site, which launched in February 2015, also received an award. With more than 5,000 entries, the W3 Awards honor outstanding websites, web marketing, web video, mobile sites/apps and social content created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators worldwide.

One North worked with Selman Breitman on branding and messaging work that would help showcase its lawyers and emphasizes the firm’s relationship-based business development initiatives. Built on Drupal, the website features a clean layout throughout.

Built on Sitecore CMS, Torys’ website features a mix of innovative and user-centric features, including mobile-lead responsive design, a dynamic homepage, condensed primary navigation and scrollable content. A fresh, modern color palette, contemporary typography and rich imagery help bring the brand to life while offering a clean and contemporary aesthetic.

“Our firm’s practitioners and our various audiences have significantly benefited from the website redesign,” said Brian Will, Torys’ Senior Manager, Marketing Technology. “Users can now seamlessly navigate the site, and it’s a valuable asset that has helped us publicly evolve our brand.”

One North’s own redesigned site features some of the latest digital strategies and techniques in web development, including responsive design and microinteractions.
