Client Experience is a powerful concept for many kinds of innovators, but it’s particularly important for people in relationship-based businesses. During the 2012 Experience Lab, we examined and experimented with different interactive strategies and tactics for creating a truly differentiated client experience. And because the Lab is all about unlocking new ideas, we decided to add a little twist to our sessions. Rather than looking at what we are doing today, or even what we are planning for next year, we turned our attention to what the client experience will look like 10 years from now. As a group, we defined which interactive experiences will support the growth of firms in the year 2022 and identified what we needed to do to make it happen. Our goal was not to predict the future, but to create it.
