  • Pete Amundson Technical Strategist

    As a Technical Strategist with One North's Digital Strategy team, Pete serves as a key technology consultant for clients. He partners with clients in both Marketing and IT to assess, advise and plan technology selection, integrations and ecosystems. His close attention to the ever-changing technology landscape helps him stay on top of the latest trends and approaches that affect professional services organizations.

  • Cathy Lynk Manager, Digital Strategy

    As Manager, Digital Strategy, Cathy partners with our clients to create and execute long-term digital strategy programs. Her background in User Experience design drives her to stay close to the needs and behaviors of target audiences through user research and testing. Cathy brings new ideas and data-driven insights to the strategic marketing programs she helps create and execute.

    • Favorite hobby: I love to run for fun. I try to run at least 3 miles in every city I visit.
    • Creative interests: I recently completed a full-stack design program where I had the opportunity to create functional prototypes for Chicago-based startups.
  • Ben Magnuson Senior Data Strategist

    As a Senior Data Strategist at One North, Ben supports clients by applying a strong data focus to marketing initiatives across channels and tools. Digital Marketing tools produce vast quantities of raw data, but often little direction on how to apply it to an effective digital strategy. Ben partners with our clients to streamline and optimize this process. He starts by gaining an understanding of each client’s unique goals and tactics, and guides them toward a strategic analytics program. He focuses on the creation of a meaningful feedback loop to help support and steer decision-making.

    • Most embarrassing moment: Accidentally walking into the same section of the revolving door with the restaurant hostess as she led us to the patio.
  • Kalev Peekna Managing Director, Chief Strategist

    Kalev Peekna is the Chief Strategist at One North, leading the Digital Strategy team. He brings a cross-platform, user-focused approach to innovations in brand development, design, data analysis and technology, and helps clients apply those innovations to their strategic aims.

    • If I were a vegetable: I would be broccoli. Because I have always wanted someone to call me “cruciferous.” 
    • Most unusual job: Cocktail bartender at a Cabaret
  • Mark Thompson Business Intelligence Analyst

    Mark brings a data-driven and business-focused perspective to the One North Digital Strategy team, helping clients to successfully leverage data as part of their strategic plans and business decisions. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Accounting and a strong passion for data sciences. Mark quickly utilized his accounting knowledge base as a platform to pursue a career change into business intelligence. 
     
    Fun fact: In the second grade, a teacher asked Mark what he wanted to be when he grew up. His answer? A patent lawyer. 
     
    Most unusual job: During college, Mark worked as a DJ and music producer and performed 2-3 times a week to help pay expenses. 

  • Tracy McCarty Director, Digital Solutions, Health

    Tracy is One North’s healthcare evangelist, collaborating with clients to realize their vision and build value through optimal digital customer/patient experience. Aside from keeping a “healthy eye” on the work, Tracy is a fan of “walk and talk” meetings to get people out of the office. 
     
    Favorite season: All of them; it’s one of the reasons we moved back to the Midwest from California. 
      
    Most unusual job: Stall mucking and putting up hay – I am an avid horse fan. 

  • Greg Mather Director, Digital Solutions, Financial Services

    Greg is One North’s Director of Digital Solutions for Financial Services. For more than 20 years, Greg has helped companies in financial services become market leaders in brand reputation, campaign execution effectiveness, differentiated omni-channel experiences and applied data analytics for marketing effectiveness. Greg has helped companies digitally transform the customer experience through user-centered design thinking (applying best practices across CX-UX-UI).

    Favorite Chicago spot? Bob Chinn’s Crab House in Northbrook

    Superpower you wish you had? Being able to use the physics concept of entanglement to transport myself across the world to see other places instantly.
