P33, backed by the Commercial Club of Chicago, is an organization with a vision to establish the city of Chicago as a global technology force. It promotes initiatives and programs that help attract businesses and talent to Chicago’s tech ecosystem. One North, passionate about P33’s work to position Chicago as a technology leader, has worked in close collaboration with the organization to evolve its brand expression and digital experience.
P33 was looking to better align its brand with the dynamic, innovative organizations and professionals it was trying to reach. One North first helped to modernize the visual brand expression by enhancing P33’s design system. One North then leveraged the new system to design and develop an email newsletter and redesign P33’s digital experience.
The hero area on the homepage is designed to have a kaleidoscope effect on scroll, which leverages a single image that shifts and multiplies as users move down the page. This movement emulates the dynamic nature of the evolving Chicago tech community.

The updated visual brand identity captures P33’s essence as a technology-forward organization dedicated to promoting momentous growth in Chicago’s technology ecosystem, and it clearly articulates the organization’s value to key stakeholders, potential collaborators and investors. The website’s information architecture, design and implementation were all completely reimagined and work together to elevate the brand, its message and vision for the future.
