Senior Visual Communications Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Visual Communications Designer who obsesses over craft, clarity, and storytelling.

This role is for a designer who sees presentations as a design medium and knows how to turn complex thinking into bold, persuasive visual narratives for senior leaders and clients. You’ll work at the center of strategy, design, and storytelling, partnering closely with multidisciplinary teams to shape decks that sell ideas, clarify decisions, and elevate the One North brand.

Responsibilities
  • Design high-impact presentations from early concept decks to polished, executive-ready narratives
  • Translate strategy, research, and abstract ideas into clear, visually compelling stories
  • Push presentation design beyond templates with strong typography, layout, hierarchy, and motion-minded thinking
  • Create custom frameworks, diagrams, and infographics that make complex thinking feel simple and intuitive
  • Shape the visual language of decks while maintaining brand integrity and consistency
  • Collaborate with sales and practitioners to bring ideas to life
  • Design for different moments and audiences: internal alignment, client pitches, and events
  • Raise the bar on what presentation design looks like at One North
  • Create a repository of designed slides and templates, and a process around leveraging them effectively

  • Strong to advanced skills in PowerPoint and Figma Slides; experience with Keynote and Google Slides is a plus
  • Comfort presenting your work, explaining your thinking, and defending design decisions
  • Thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
  • Collaborative, curious, and generous with ideas and feedback
  • Motivated by craft, iteration, and pushing work beyond what is expected
  • Strong curiosity to learn new tools, find new inspiration, and trying new ways to tell a story
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
